About the teacher
Hi my name is Heather Omori and I will be your child's 3rd grade teacher for this coming 2019-2020 school year!
I am excited and I look forward to working with you and your child. I know that this school year is going to be great!!!
I graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa with a Bachelors of Arts and Science in Psychology in 2011. In May 2013 I graduated with my Masters of Education in Teaching from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. January 2013-May 2013 I worked at Mililani Uka Elementary as the special education teacher in an inclusion setting with kindergarten and 1st grade. I was a 1st grade teacher at Hale Kula for two years. I have been a third grade teacher at Daniel K. Inouye Elementary School for 5 years.
Born on Oahu and raised in Mililani. I love to go shopping, finding new hikes to conquer, going to the beautiful beaches, and spending time with Family and Friends.
I am energetic and have no doubts that teaching is a life long learning career. Not only will your child be learning this year, but I will definitely be learning from your child!
Looking forward to this school year :)
